Frequently Asked Questions

The Wedding Boardroom is designed for hotel and wedding venue teams responsible for wedding sales and revenue. That includes GMs, Business Owners, Sales Office Managers, and Wedding Managers.

Not in the traditional sense. There are no hours of slides or generic sales training. The Wedding Boardroom is an interactive mastermind day. We’ll discuss what is happening in wedding sales right now, work through real challenges, audit sales and marketing and identify the changes that increase bookings, conversion and wedding revenue.

Yes. If you are involved in generating wedding leads, converting couples, conducting venue viewings, following up or increasing wedding spend, the day is relevant to you. The content is commercially advanced, so expect to look beyond the operational delivery of weddings and into how your venue actually drives sales and revenue.

Yes. Bringing colleagues from different parts of the wedding sales journey can be particularly valuable. Sales, marketing, wedding and senior leadership teams often influence different stages of the same customer journey. Each place is booked separately.

Lead generation, conversion, pricing, follow-up, marketing, buyer behaviour, the wedding booking journey, average spend and team performance. You can also bring a specific sales challenge from your own hotel or venue for discussion and feedback.

No formal preparation is required. But come knowing your current wedding numbers and bring the challenges you want to solve. The more specific the problem, the more useful we can make the discussion.

Yes. The objective is not to leave with pages of notes you never look at again. You’ll identify the priorities for your venue and leave with clear actions for the next 30, 60 and 90 days.

The Wedding Boardroom takes place at The Grand, York on Friday 20 November 2026, from 10am to 3pm.

The early booking price is £395 per person until 2nd November 2026. From 2 November, the price is £500 per person. Your place includes the full Wedding Boardroom day at The Grand, York, lunch and refreshments.

There will be up to a maximimum of 30 people around the table. This keeps the day interactive enough for discussion, questions, hot seats and direct feedback rather than turning it into a conference.
