Hi Kelly,
Tuesday, I was scared and worried. Wedsnesday, I was in shock, scared, and worried.
But we did right. We voted against Obama and his far left policies. I’m proud of Arkansas, my home state for staying in the red and I’m proud of California for banning gay marriage.
Weds. night, a new member at our church said something profound: The same God is still in control of our country. I knew that, but it really hit me to hear someone else say it.

Hey Gang,

A friend’s wife sent this to me. She works in a library, and had a moment to speak to a girl about the election. Another 10-yr-old:

Girl: My mom and sister are gonna vote for Obama.
Friend: Oh, yeah?
Girl: Yup–and we get to vote tomorrow at school and I’m gonna vote for Obama. Who are you voting for?

Friend: Well, let me give you a hint. My son is in the Air Force.
Girl: You must be voting for McCain.
Friend: Yup.
Girl: Why? Obama’s better.
Friend: One issue. Abortion. I don’t believe in it.
Girl: Who cares about abortion? What about insurance?

My friend’s wife sat stunned. What a mentality, ‘I don’t care what you do as long as you give me something.’

I’m in the Kennedy camp. “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.”

Well, ya can’t blame the kid. Sigh.

Well, Kelly, this one was the best of the best. I have thoroughly enjoyed the series, but taking it from the mouths of babes (well, slightly post babe) makes it ever so clear how simple this should be. But we live in a world of deceit and delusion. I, like the others, have a gut wrenching foreboding. But also, like the others, I know that God is in control, and no authority can exist, except He allows it. So having done what we can, we re-affirm our trust in Him. Thanks for your work.

Yes, I knew about is lack of ability to gain a security clearance.

It makes it a little scary to know that he could have the authority to launch a strategic/tactical/preemptive nuclear strike too.

If he joined the Navy, he’d be eligible to be a… ummm… cook.

So, get this. Some guy e-mails me that I have the biggest ego of any agent he’s ever seen (okay, so he’s close to the mark on that one), then he says I’m sick, and it’s easy to see how kids grow up to be “racist monsters.”

Imagine, my little sweetpea, a racist monster! I told the guy never once have I mentioned Mr. Obama’s race, nor the color of his skin, but since he brought it up, I wrote being 1/2 black isn’t a qualification for the highest office in the land.

Some of you may know this, but Mr. Obama is NOT elligible to be an FBI Agent, in the CIA, or even a staffer in the NSA, because of his ties to Ayers, among others. Yet, he can run for president. Is something wrong with this picture?

Anyway, I ended my note to my racist friend, “This election, the choice is so obvious, even a caveman could figure it out. Oh, sorry. I guess you can’t…”

I’m voting tomorrow, McCain ALL the WAY!!!! But I’ll be praying all day long that those out there, like you and Night Owl, follow your lead.

I am like Night Owl, I have never voted a straight ticket, but this year is different. I have the same fear of run-away left loons changing our country and the change won’t be for the good.

At the same time, God is in charge and even though I fear, I keep thinking of the many times in His Word that He tells us to “Fear Not”. So, I’m trying to leave it at His feet even though I pick it up at times to rant with my co-workers.

Thanks Kelly for all the talking points here, too bad there are so many that are blind to the truth.

When I voted last week it was the 14th time I’ve cast a vote for President of the United States of America. I’m an Independent and until this election I have never before voted a straight ticket. But this time was different–I voted Republican all the way.

I have in those previous elections not always voted for the candidate that won, but NEVER have I feared the election of the other candidate. Today I am consumed by gut-wrenching fear. And sorrow. If the House and Senate go totally Democratic with Barak Omama leading the way we are going to see damage to this Republic like we’ve never seen before.

Who would have dreamed that half the population could be so blind?
